A Snake and A Savior

Monday Mar 13, 2023

Monday Mar 13, 2023

Looking at Jesus is the only way to find what you’re looking for. It’s also the only way to be saved – to look upon the Son and receive Him as Savior.

The Cost of Discipleship

Monday Feb 27, 2023

Monday Feb 27, 2023

How could Jesus be so insensitive as to provoke a grief-stricken seeker to forego a proper burial for his parents? Some scholars have discovered a Jewish custom for having two ceremonies. It may be that Jesus was referring to this second, redundant ceremony. Others still suggest that the wording of the young man’s request means that the father was still living, and the son was asking for permission to fulfill his family duties until his father passed. Either way, Jesus is heightening the urgency of his kingdom work and placing loyalty to his cause above cultural expressions of family loyalties.

Deliberate Faith

Tuesday Feb 21, 2023

Tuesday Feb 21, 2023

There comes a point in all of our lives where our hunger for God and need for Him defies logic, reputation, and the norm. If you want God, if you want a touch from God, go touch Him. Be deliberate. You can have God right here, right now!

Picture Perfect

Monday Feb 13, 2023

Monday Feb 13, 2023

Perfection does exist. In fact, when Jesus asks us to love our enemies, He is asking us to be “perfect.” And in Him, we can be perfectly complete because Jesus is perfect, without flaw or fault. We actually can love our enemies, but more importantly, we can be covered by the blood of Jesus that makes us clean and, in a sense, perfect or perfected.

How Low Can You Go?

Monday Jan 30, 2023

Monday Jan 30, 2023

Jesus chose to be a lowly servant and leave paradise to rescue us in broken humanity. For many, we see God as a form of a favor fulfiller and request denier. Yet, what if our faith is more about getting low with Jesus versus rising high with status? In this message, we’re asking the question, “how low can you go?”

My Favorite Idol

Monday Jan 23, 2023

Monday Jan 23, 2023

We all have favorite “things” that provide us comfort and confidence. And there’s nothing wrong with THINGS or what said things might bring us. The issue is when we cannot let go of, lay down, or live without these “things.” Furthermore, and most importantly, when Jesus calls for those things to become second in comparison to our love and radical commitment to Him, that’s when things become “idols” and they must break and bow for us to be His disciples.

Our Vision is to Revive Every Block, which ultimately means to multiply. In a season where we aren’t launching locations, we can still multiply by reaching people, preparing new leaders, securing facilities, and investing in the next generation.

More Than Enough

Monday Dec 12, 2022

Monday Dec 12, 2022

We are celebrating ALL God is doing through our Here to Stay Campaign and how this will impact our city going forward. We are also taking our cue from the people of God who gave so generously that they were told to stop giving because they had more than enough. Their heart was to build God’s house and returning to our first love is the way we accomplish this same thing.

Monday Dec 05, 2022

Joy is a journey. You don’t just arrive overnight at game changing joy. No, it’s a process of pruning, learning how to navigate pain from others, and beholding Christ as the only true source for sustainable joy.

RELATIONSHIPS HELP FORM THE FABRIC OF OUR LIVES. Which is why it's said, it's not the quantity of relationships you have, but the quality. To arrive and sustain Joy in our lives, we need quality relationships that lift and last.

When you are living in your purpose or on mission, your threshold for pain increases and your rejoicing over success is much more joy-filled. Ultimately, joy is experienced and produced by living a life on mission.

Paul has joy. So what is JOY? Joy is kind of a blend of happiness + peace + contentment = strength. We start to see that over the next several verses. Choosing joy brings energy. Nehemiah wrote "the joy of the Lord is our strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). Its chronic absence makes us weak.
