All of us will experience the pain of loneliness in this lifetime. But as followers of Christ, we are not a slave to that state of mind. We serve a God that knew the pain we’d feel in isolation so He gave us direct and immediate access to relationship with Him and one another.The path out of loneliness requires us to be INTENTIONAL. First it requires us to be intentional with our thoughts, then it requires that we be intentional with our own efforts, and finally it requires us to be intentional with others by reaching out.

According to research, most of us will experience at least one traumatic event in our adult life. Many of us find ourselves in different places of processing and healing that trauma, but the most important part is knowing where we are at right now and allowing God to initiate healing.

There’s a difference between guilt and shame. One is more reflective of conviction, the other is condemnation. Because of Jesus, you are promised freedom from shame and given peace for your future. Guilt, in its right place, can be healthy. On the contrary, shame is always devastating. Know the difference and overcome shame in Jesus' name!

Not every romantic relationship is for your good, sometimes it is to your demise. We have to recognize the red flags and do something about them!
