When we give our lives to Jesus we become a new creation. We’re not to identify ourselves by who we were but by who we are now. And water baptism paints that picture. The old has gone and the new has come. Jesus offers us not the road from bad to good, good to better, or worst to great. No He offers us the opportunity to go from death to life.
